The European Forum of Psychomotricity (EFP) is at the forefront of developing and promoting psychomotor practices and research across Europe.
Questionnaire on European Psychomotricity 2024
A key initiative is the QuEP (Questionnaire on European Psychomotricity 2024), a comprehensive international survey that gathered insights into psychomotor training formats, work conditions, and research activities from over 1,400 professionals across 14 countries.
The findings aim to enhance collaboration, support professionalization, and align research efforts across Europe. Full data and findings are accessible through the Open Science Framework.
The EFP also publishes and oversees the European Psychomotricity Journal, which provides a platform for sharing high-quality research and fostering interdisciplinary dialogue. This journal emphasizes the need for scientifically substantiated efficacy studies to support psychomotricity’s recognition as a healthcare and educational profession in more countries.
